Whether the shutdown is still going on or is finally over, government contractors will have lots of catching up to do. Congress is likely to order backpay for furloughed government workers, but who will pay your workers? Do they need to be paid at all? What will happen to contract deadlines that were missed or are now in jeopardy?

In this 60-minute webinar, these and other questions that need to be addressed for federal contractors during and after the government shutdown will be discussed by Shlomo Katz, Counsel at Brown Rudnick LLP. Mr. Katz will draw upon his experience in the fields of both Government Contracts and Wage & Hour law to help contractors understand their current rights and obligations.

Plus, you will have the chance to ask your own questions during the Q&A portion of the webinar!

Take advantage of this deeply discounted webinar to learn answers to your most pressing questions.

Reserve your space now for critical answers to questions about your rights and responsibilities during and after the shutdown, including:

  • Do contractors have to pay employees for time they were furloughed?
  • What differences might there be between treatment of exempt and non-exempt workers?
  • Can workers be required to use vacation time during the shutdown?
  • Can I make any claims against the Government for work lost during the shutdown?
  • Am I entitled to contract extensions as a result of the shutdown?
